A Ghost Story - In The Black (redraw)

"a ghost story" is a long-form webcomic revolving around the lives of jack and maxine, unlicensed paranormal exterminators with questionable moral fiber. this is a complete redraw and rewrite of the first chapter (published in 2013) funded by patreon donors. while the original version will remain on the site, this best captures the spirit of the comic 10 years into its run and improves/fixes a bunch of problems caused by being an amateur artist who has no idea what she's doing. i still don't know what i'm doing, but it's harder to tell now.

the reality of the situation is this: i would have liked to do this in hard print, but economic realities and audience sizes make this impossible for the foreseeable future. plus, patreon donors paid for this, so it's hard to ask for more money on top of it. asking more than a few bucks for a .pdf is criminal, so please pay what you want and share it with people who you think might be interested.
